The conference, themed "Law and Technology in a Changing World," aimed to explore how technological advancements profoundly impact both legal practice and theory. Among the many hot topics, " Not Too Fast, AI! Exploring Legal Ethics and Regulations in the Era of AI-Powered ChatGPT" stood out as a crucial area of discussion. Partners at GEN Law Firm participated in the program, with He Jing acting as the co-chair and Annie Xue serving as a guest speaker.
The panel discussion was co-chaired and moderated by Jai Lee, foreign attorney at Yulchon LLC in Seoul. The speakers included Jordan Crenshaw, Senior Vice President at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Technology Engagement Center in Washington, D.C.; Kyungtae Ma, partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in Seoul; James Sherer, partner at BakerHostetler in New York, NY; and Annie Xue, a senior counsel (partner level) at GEN Law Firm.
