On October 20, 2023, partners Johnson Li and James Ma from GEN Law Firm delivered keynote speeches at the ALB Shenzhen In-House Legal Summit 2023. James Ma shared his insightful thoughts on the declaratory non-infringement patents in his keynote speech. He introduced in detail the historical background of declaratory non-infringement lawsuits, the revisions of the "Patent Law," the legal issues faced in practice, and the legal basis and requirements for declaratory non-infringement lawsuits. He suggested feasible solutions for dealing with the declaratory non-infringement case when the invalidity of the patent is challenged, and He also introduced some precedent cases.

In the afternoon session, Jessica Lei from GEN Law Firm moderated a discussion titled "The Present and the Future - The Active Role of Legal Affairs and Lawyers in Corporate Development."
