Mr. Jerry Xia, partner of GEN Law Firm, was recently invited to teach at the "2021 WIPO-China Summer School on Intellectual Property". It is a 2-week English taught program organized annually by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) with local support from the East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL). This is the third year in a row Mr. Xia has been a guest lecturer for this program.

Based on his decade long in-house experience, Mr. Xia presented on the topic of "A Taste of Day-to-Day Corporate IP Protection Management" to share with students how to make an in-house IP counsel on a daily basis. The lecture was well received and after the class, he also had an interactive discussion with the students on IP career development. At the end, he accepted a Certificate of Appreciation from ECUPL for his teaching.
