Professional Profile

Peishu is an experienced government relations specialist whose career path is landmarked with such positions as senior director of an international consulting firm, attorney-at-law at both a Chinese and an international law firm, and diplomat to the US.

Before joining GEN, Peishu worked as a senior director in a well-known international consulting company, helping multinational companies develop and execute government relations strategies and action plans. She has rich experience in assisting clients in resolving legal disputes with local governments and state-owned enterprises by leveraging support from government agencies at the central level.

Peishu had practiced law for nearly eight years in a leading domestic law firm and a US-based international law firm. Her practice areas included antitrust, anti-dumping and countervailing duties, foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital.

From 2013 to 2017, Peishu was appointed by the Ministry of Commerce as a commercial consul based in the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, where she assisted Chinese companies in connecting with local governments and business communities. She also advised American local companies on China's business environment, and foreign investment related laws and regulations.

Peishu's experience as a lawyer and a diplomat enables her to approach and analyze issues from different perspectives and provide comprehensive and feasible solutions to clients.
