Jessica Lei is a partner supervising cross-border M&A transactions, foreign direct investment and general corporate practices of GEN Law Firm. She specializes in cross-border merger and acquisition transactions and represented overseas purchasers and sellers in designing transaction structure, drafting transactional documents, negotiating definitive agreements, and communicating with governmental authorities. Jessica also has extensive experiences in helping MNCs (especially in oil and gas, chemical and machinery industries) solve legal issues engaged by their Chinese subsidiaries in corporate formation and dissolution, licensing and regulatory, foreign exchange control, environmental protection, labor and employment, import and export control, cross-border E-commerce, contract review etc. Prior to joining GEN, Jessica worked for a prestigious US law firm for more than 8 years.
