On July 2, 2024, Mr. He Jing was invited as an expert panelist at the 39th Public Program of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) Expert Committee. The seminar, themed “Business First, Legal Safeguards: ADR Challenges for Global Enterprises,” was held in a hybrid format, drawing in-person and global online participation from senior executives and CCCME members. 

Mr. He Jing, Vice Chair of Legal Committee of CCCME Expert Board, joined a distinguished panel alongside Mr. Chuan Wee Meng, Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC), and Mr. Ye Wanhe. The panel engaged in a dynamic discussion on emerging trends, practical strategies, and the evolving landscape of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) for Chinese enterprises expanding overseas. Mr. He Jing contributed his deep expertise in cross-border legal matters, addressing critical topics such as the types of disputes best suited for mediation, the core value of mediation mechanisms, and common legal challenges encountered during international expansion.

The session, moderated by Mr. Chuan, also featured insights into the latest developments in international mediation, including updates on the Singapore Convention on Mediation and its implications for Chinese companies. Mr. He Jing’s perspectives, grounded in extensive practical experience and real-life case studies, provided participating delegates with actionable guidance on mitigating risks and enhancing international dispute resolution capabilities.
