Linxi Cai is a partner in the Beijing office of GEN Law Firm. Her practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, private equity, fund formation, capital markets, and corporate & commercial matters.

Linxi has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. She advises state-owned enterprises, multinational corporations, listed companies, financial institutions, private equity funds, and start-ups on a wide range of complex cross-border and domestic transactions, including control acquisitions, joint ventures, greenfield investments, financial investments, equity financings, asset disposals, exits, and restructurings. Her practice spans multiple jurisdictions worldwide, and she has significant industry experience in advanced manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and healthcare and medical devices, energy, logistics, artificial intelligence, and TMT.

In the area of fund formation, Linxi represents sponsors in the establishment of a variety of funds, including USD funds, RMB funds, special purpose funds, parallel USD and RMB funds. She also advises a broad range of investors, including listed companies, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals, on their investments into funds.

In the capital markets area, Linxi represents issuers and underwriters, including leading domestic and international investment banks, in offshore listings and the issuance of USD and EUR bonds. Relevant listing venues include the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Singapore Exchange, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and other stock exchanges.

In the area of general corporate matters, Linxi also provides legal services to listed companies, state-owned enterprises, financial institutions and other domestic enterprises and multinational corporations.
